Fei Long, Dan and Seth (Boss) Rumored for SF4!

When it rains it pours!

We’ve got word that not only will Fei Long and Dan appear in SF4 but that Seth (the Puppet Master) will be a Boss for the game. Seth is CEO of Shadoloo’s weapons division - S.I.N - and has been refined with cutting edge technology.

Initial reaction to the announcement has been mixed. One of the main concerns being the name “Seth” as a boss figure. Sure, it might be a classic SF character but does the name Seth strike fear into the hearts of opponents?

“Oh no… Seth is Coming!” sounds like it could be accurately shreiked with a high pitched lisp. We thought the same thing at first, but then we saw his picture and decided that any vague insinuation of homosexuality could result in our skull being crushed in the palm of his hand.

So now we are shutting up.

It’s official. Capcom has announced that the highly anticipated Street Fighter IV is coming home, announcing that, in addition to the arcade version, it will be bringing the next Street Fighter to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows-based PCs. It’s been cagey on mentioning anything but the arcade version since the game was revealed, but it would appear that speculation (and common sense) regarding SFIV coming home was spot on. There’s little in the way of new details in the press release, but for those not up to speed on the game yet, it’s required reading. Everyone else, make with the champagne and fist pumping.

Rumor: SF4 This Winter on XBox, PS3 & PC!

Get ready Street Fighter fans, because if these unconfirmed rumors are true, Capcom accidentally leaked information revealing that Street Fighter 4 will be released this Winter!

French site, Jeux Video, claims that a Capcom press site accidentally included the tidbit about the release time but at the moment, doesn’t include a link to where the info was found. Perhaps Capcom smartened up and took it down, but we’re hoping we can rummage around and at least find a screen shot to put some legitimacy behind this awesome possibility.

Street Fighter fans have waited for over a decade for the real “next” version of Street Fighter. When SF4 was officially announced, excitement started to build… but it seemed the game might get further delayed until Fall 2009. Now, this exciting turn of events could ensure that SF fans across the world have a Hadoken Happy Holiday Season!

Stay tuned for more!
